About this Production
"On Cloud Nine" was a part of Revera's EP, "A Moment in Time", released in September 2023. I was the assistant recording and mixing engineer on the EP, under Sandro Dominelli.
Boasting a huge guitar and drum sound recorded from a garage within Dominelli Studios, this song captures a very live and energetic performance, and sound.
The goal of the production side of the album was to break the rules of recording and acoustics. To capture a raw sound out of an un-treated garage to bring a sense of chaotic energy into the mix. And it worked, "On Cloud Nine" still holds as one of the best drum sounds I've taken part in creating.
