"Lacey" displays both the indie spirit and raw rock energy at the core of Burning Starships. Gritty guitar textures, driving rhythms, and emotionally charged vocals come together in a track that captures the urgency and authenticity of the band’s sound. It’s a strong example of their ability to blend intensity with atmosphere.
The song was recorded by the band in a DIY home setup, and while the performances carried strong energy and intent, the raw tracks presented some technical challenges. My goal was to preserve the track’s emotional edge while cleaning up and enhancing the mix.
